Kona Commons
Suntech Hawaii’s PV system for MKC Management LLC, the developer of Kona Commons, adds environmental caché to a new shopping center while also reducing operating costs for the landlord and tenants. Suntech Hawaii spent nearly a year working with the developer to document the system’s financial performance and working with subcontractors to show how photovoltaics can successfully be incorporated in to the company’s proven development model. The result is an innovative project that has attracted attention statewide for its environmentally forward approach to development.
